Oxford Exchange

“It started with a bookstore and an office”. – Blake Casper

Oxford Exchange was born long before it had an address or a name. Brother and sister duo Blake Casper and Allison Casper Adams dreamed a concept outside of Tampa’s “norm” with a vision. It started with an idea, a question really: where can people spend time together, talk, and exchange ideas? Answer: a bookstore. From the beginning, the question defined the ultimate purpose – Oxford Exchange is driven by community.

Oxford Exchange opened its doors to the community on September 24, 2012. Soon after opening, Oxford Exchange was a space where people wanted to be. People responded to the building and the community began using it, often exactly as the visionaries had imagined and sometimes in ways that they had never dreamed. The concepts within the outer walls were born – The Restaurant, The Shop, The Commerce Club, The Bookstore, The Champagne Bar, and The Coffee Bar. We resisted rules and let the rooms take life. Oxford Exchange is not a static space. It evolves and is enriched by every person who enters.

The Library
The Library

The Oxford Commons Hospitality family was born when the group expanded from one concept to two. On September 21, 2018, the group opened The Library in St. Petersburg. George Peabody believed in the importance of education and one of his many legacies is the George Peabody Library, an institute he dedicated to the citizens of Baltimore in 1857. Johns Hopkins was inspired by his close friend George Peabody to use his great wealth for the public good. The collaboration between these men and the institutions they created is the inspiration for our restaurant, located within Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg. At The Library, the familiar aroma of coffee, the promise of a delicious meal, and the anticipation of friendly buzz will offer a reprieve from the daily chaos.

The Stovall House
On September 21, 2021, The Stovall House opened a modern-day social club, offering members opportunities to connect, entertain, work, dine, and relax. Designed and built around the original 1909 estate, the historic house on the property is one of the oldest and best examples of classical revival architecture in the Tampa Bay area. Thoughtfully planned, The Stovall House provides a private and luxurious environment for each member to connect and recharge alongside world-class amenities.

Current
Established in 2019 and acquired by the Casper family 2023, the Current hotel, a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel, joined the Oxford Commons Hospitality portfolio. Set on the edge of Tampa Bay, Current Hotel is a waterfront retreat designed to invite beauty, creativity, and calm. With sweeping coastal views, elevated interiors, and floor-to-ceiling original artwork, the hotel is more than a stay – it’s a lively exhibit. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted by a sense of place that’s both grounded and imaginative. Art lines the walls. Light floods the space. And every corner invites you to pause, look closer, and stay awhile.

Predalina
Predalina Tampa
Predalina
Predalina joined the Oxford Commons family on December 9, 2023 with the arrival of Water Street in Tampa’s emerging downtown district. Predalina isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a state of mind where guests come to escape, connect, and celebrate. Here, intentional living looks like sipping spritzes under a golden disco ball, sharing stories over fresh seafood, and feeling, just for a moment, like you’ve slipped away to the Copacabana while still in the heart of Water Street.

The menu is a curated journey through the coasts of Southern Europe, with bold Mediterranean flavors and a special nod to Portuguese tradition letting high-quality ingredients shine. It’s more than Mediterranean dining, it’s a vibrant escape and what truly sets Predalina apart is the vibe: energetic, stylish, and alive.
